The dream of RV Living and to better the lives of the Three Dogs and myself, I purchased this fifth wheel. It was needing a lot of repair. The floor was re done. Walls needed to be painted. Rust on the metal components inside, furnace with temperamental issues. Broken water pump, faulty toilet valve, etc etc. It was a fixer upper in every sense of the phrase.
This home on wheels was larger then the Sunline I had at the time and it seemed to offer a bit of leg room for myself, and the pups. We stayed in this during one of New England’s roughest winters. Water lines ended up freezing. Doors where eaten through by the dogs. Windows ended up getting broken. Around this time, Melissa came into the picture and ironically enough we moved into the Sunline camper. Smaller, with and extra human and a cat! The NuWa was sent to “pasture” behind my place of employment until it’s fate was decided.
My boss decided its fate. It needed to go due to exterior changes to the building. It was no longer livable and needed even more work at this point. My options? Bring it to a transfer station to be crushed. While it wasn’t the route I wanted to take, seeing it demolished made me sad. It was still while odd, a very interesting thing to witness. The video follows. By the way, welcome to the site!
