The rest stop we chose was very busy when we woke up!
We had left over breakfast from the Iron Skillet the day before and cleaned up a little. Steve continued the search for a fridge vent and found a Camping World on our way that had one. The drive there was nice and the views of Columbus were awesome. Arriving at Camping World, Steve ran in and found what we needed. He installed it right in the parking lot! We are lucky to have a big solar system and he plugged in the drill to do the job. He mentioned there was a Eagle Truck Wash right around the corner and we headed there. We waited for nearly an hour before getting inside! Three guys washed our camper and truck in about 15 mins for only $40 total. Steve said it was a good deal but seemed expensive to me. At least our house is clean and shiny as well as the truck!
We looked for a place to park and decided to try a Walmart for the first time. It was in Huber Heights. We grabbed some water inside via a water filling station. They sell 1 gallon, and three gallon empty containers and we filled them all for $.39/gallon. Not bad! Exausted from the day we made camp there and Steve finally made a video highlighting the day for the first time in a while. I’ve linked it here.
Tomorrow we de-winterize our RV’s plumbing.
